Been gone for too long. School has me a bit beyond busy. 8 AM classes are no joke. But I'll be back in the swing of things shortly.

Investment of the Week: Handy Dandy Cosmectic Bag ?
Scenario: On a date. Take a trip to the ladies room to powder your nose....only to realize, you have no powder, or lipstick, or mascara *faint*. lol. No but really I dread those moments when I want to touch up my look and I'm just stuck, wanting to suddenly bury my face under my collar.
After numerous times of misplacing my favorite lip gloss or my eye liner magically disappearing, I've realized you can't always keep track of things once you take them out of the bathroom. What do you need? A handy back up cosmetic bag. I've always liked to buy things in twos, and having back up cosmetics is always a plus. I have my big bag which holds most of my make up, a medium sized "wristlet" for makeup on the go, and a small bag for the items I misplace the most. My back up bags are a life saver I swear. I can't haul my entire collection around with me everywhere I go and my back up bag is the answer. What's inside you ask? The essentials:
Cosmetic bags are usually very cheap ($5 at Walmart) unlike my MAC cosmetic bag($40?) that has stood the test of time and me. And its a good place to hide all your pretty little things if you have unannounced guests.
So maybe you've never thought of buying one before, but it really has it's uses.

- a cosmetic sponge
- pressed powder
- eye liner
- glue....yes eyelash glue
- tweezers
- lipstick
- lipgloss

My Revlon Revenge
So it was only 2 days into the new 2013 and I was craving for some new lip colors. I feel like lip colors can make or break your look. Now I'm no, expert but I am very picky when it comes to colors in my world. I used to have a major issue with lipstick. It was dry and just flat as hell. So I stuck to lip gloss and chapstick. Two problems: Lip gloss is nice shiny and is kinda sticky and messy after I eat. Chapstick....turns your lips to mashed potatoes if you over use it. I yearned for the day when one of these companies would figure out all of their customers weren't stuck in the 50's (Great times, right?). So finally new lip candies!! But then the question came: Which one do I buy? I am a woman of color, and some colors really just don't sit well on me. Eventually I gave in, took the plunge, and just guessed. I mean as long as I have a receipt I can return it, right? Works for me. But I absolutely adore these colors I copped today.
All of these products are
REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain** . Absolutely adore this product!! From personal experience, this works for me. Last thing I need is a lip full of crayola-crap goop from reapplication.
Best thing about this product :
it moisturizes and stains at the same (damn) time! It's like a diet version of lipstick, but more filling than a dry lip stain.

REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush
Right now Crush is my favorite one of the four. It really compliments my skin tone :).Does is last?
Just like any other lipstick. Now don't get me wrong, you will still have to reapply the product as usual depending on your activity but a swipe of chapstick or lip gloss should do the trick, and make it last a while longer.
** I was not paid/compensated for these products or for my personal opinion of the products in my review. I purchased them with my money.
